Description

Shows Prime Minister John Key and Co-leader of the Maori Party Pita Sharples hugging an 'ETS' tree. On one side John Key carves a love heart with 'John' and 'Pita' on it and on the other Pita Sharples carves a '$' sign. John Key comments 'Anything to improve thwe climate, eh?' which may refer to both global warming and to the 'climate' between the National and the Maori parties. Refers to the ETS (Emissions Trading Scheme) that has recently been passed through parliament by the government with the support of the Maori Party. The reward for the Maori Party's support is that some iwi will be allowed to plant trees on Crown land thus getting carbon credits.
