Description

An American 'Uncle Sam' figure wonders in frenzied agitation 'What now?' as former Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden disappears in an explosive blast. Context - Osama bin Laden, the criminal mastermind behind al-Qaida and the world's most sought-after terrorist since the attacks of 11 September 2001, was killed by a US operation on 1 May 2011. He was killed at his house in Abbottabad, a highland town north of Islamabad. The cartoon suggests that although the world's most wanted terrorist has been killed al Qaeda lives on and terrorism continues to be a threat.
