Shows Don Brash about to walk into his office. A man at a desk is holding a telephone and tells Brash that he has another call from someone wondering if they are a "mainstream" New Zealander. Brash thinks it is another minority person when the caller is actually his Singaporean wife. Refers to the keynote speech at the National Party conference in which Brash made references to "mainstream" New Zealand, and "mainstream" New Zealanders. When challenged by a journalist, he was unable to define exactly as a "mainstream" New Zealander was. Also refers to his spouse, Je Lan Lee, being from an ethnic minority group.
