Prime Minister, John Key, (with a key protruding from his back) stands in the street selling balloons in order to 'cheer up your day'. The balloons represent 'super fund', Kiwisaver', 'three strikes', 'super city', 'cycle ways', 'small business help', 'tax cuts', and 'beneficiary incomes'; most of the balloons have popped. Refers to policies of the new National government that are coming to grief.
