The scene shows a busy store with queues of people waiting for service. One of the staff comments loudly in a questioning manner to the next person in the queue, who is an MP, that he wants to use his ministerial credit card. Everyone in the store immediately turns and stares. Refers to the news that ministers' expense accounts are to be made public - viz - Expenses claimed by members of Parliament for the three months from 1 January 2010 to 31 March 2010 are available on http://www.parliament.nz/en-NZ/MPP/MPs/Expenses and by Ministers on www.dia.govt.nz/ministers_expenses. Three Labour ministers have been disciplined by Labour leader Phil Goff for having inappropriately overspent their tax-payer funded credit cards.
