The cartoon shows former National Party leader Don Brash and former Maori Party MP Hone Harawira each holding a pretend steering wheel, one labelled 'ACT' and the other 'Mana'. They are both sitting on the back seat of a car making 'Bbbrrrmmm' noises and pretending to drive. Context - Don Brash has ousted Rodney Hide from the leadership of the ACT Party and Hone Harawira has left the Maori Party to form a new party that is to be called 'Mana'. The little Evans man says 'Back seat drivers' suggesting that each is driving others from behind.
