Description

The scene is the basement kitchen of a large house. Prime Minister, Helen Clark, dressed for the ball, leans over the banisters and shouts to Green Co-leaders, Jeanette Fitzsimons and Rod Donaldson who are dressed as servants, that they must stay below stairs until they are needed for confidence and supply. A take on the Cinderella fairytale. Refers to the fact that the Greens have been left out of Cabinet again in preference of Winston Peters, Leader of New Zealand First and Peter Dunne, Leader of United Future.
