- Date
- 2010
- Reference
- DCDL-0016216
- Description
In the first of four frames an MP crashes a plane that represents 'travel expenses'. Initially the MP is angry and disconcerted but then he smiles as he walks towards a brand new helicopter that represents a 'wage rise'. Context; the row about the abuse by some MPs which resulted in the travel subsidy for all MPs being withdrawn. The impact of this has been largely neutralised because of a wage rise.
