Shows head and shoulders portraits of five Maori; titles are: Profil et face d'Epae enfant de Wangari; Ekara, jeune fille del la Baie des Iles; Bouche d'Ekara; Tawiti et sa femme; Bouche de la femme de Tawiti. All but one are in profile. At bottom right, the wife of Tawiti has an infant folded inside her cloak. The two details of the mouths of Ekara and Tawiti's wife, show moko markings.
