- Description
Shows two horizontal frames. In the top one scientists in a laboratory watch big screens showing views of the surface of Mars as the lander from the spaceship Phoenix readies itself for landing. One of the scientists observes that Mars looks like the Australian outback and asks if there is any sign of intelligent life. In the second frame a voice from the lander says it is afraid there is no sign of intelligent life. Suddenly an Australian wearing a vest and shorts, smoking a cigarette and with corks hanging from his hat, appears from nowhere and says 'Gudday shagger'. Refers to the arrival of NASA's Phoenix Lander on Mars on May 25, 2008.
