Gerry Brownlee explains to the PM that all he did was say that they were doing a stocktake of resources. Refers to the decision by Energy and Resources Minister Gerry Brownlee to do a stocktake of minerals in land currently protected under a section of the Crown Minerals Act. The value of untapped minerals in New Zealand has been estimated at some $140 billion, with nearly three-quarters of it within conservation land.
