- Description
Shows front and side elevations and ground floor plan of Westoe, William Fox's home near Marton, Rangitikei, built 1872. A key indicates the function of most rooms, apart from those on the right. A small sketch in the centre shows a couple, possibly intended for William and Sarah Fox, standing alongside a tall measuring device, perhaps to indicate the height of the house, relative to human height. Another figure stands alongside, holding a spear and gesturing in the direction of the house.
The script and virtually indecipherable name of Tringham's draughtsman appear on this drawing, and on the nearly identical drawing at Plans-80-2280. The same hand appears on another drawing by Tringham at Plans-80-0466
