Handwritten menu for an unknown and probably private occasion, but featuring quotations by Crosbie Ward (1832-1867), Alfred Domett (1811-1887), W P Reeves (1857-1932), and W M Maskell (1839-1898). Date probably 1890s. This menu was removed from an unidentified scrapbook of scraps dated ca 1870-1920 (at Eph-A-SCRAPBOOK-01)

Description: Menu with two sides opening to reveal the inside spread, which displays a central menu in English and French. The inside left panel contains a poem about and an illustration of "our good old dog fox" ("Still going strong"), and the inside right panel has the seating plan for the 18 diners: R M Simpson, C P Skerrett, B Y Goring, T H Hanna, H D Crawford, D G A Cooper, A P Buller, J Webster, C Ewen, J Coates, Cap. Preston, N W Werry, T Y Wardrop, W Leo Buller, R T Turnbull, J Cahill, L Tripp, J C Hanna.
