Invitation card showing a lion and British and New Zealand flags at the top, portraits in the top corners of King Edward VII and his wife Queen Alexandra ; motifs of rata and clematis flowers and a tui; scenes of Mitre Peak (left) and Mt Cook (right). Below these are portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York (later George V and Queen Mary). Under the text is a scene of Wellington Harbour, with the New Zealand coat of arms.
