Two letters and one telegram to Mr David Smith concerning employment on power line construction at Maungatapere and Tutira, and possible accommodation there. From Robert Williamson and C McIntyre.
Also includes correspondence relating to the McLeod family, Nova Scotian settlers of Waipu. A letter to Rev Norman McLeod in Australia and letters to his daughter-in-law, Margaret McLeod, and her family, from her sister Catherine Matheson and her family. A copy of the booklet `Idyll of the Shipbuilders' on the history of the Nova Scotia settlement at Waipu.
