Scrapbook, kept from 1931, when Hampton attended the Shanghai Conference of the Institute of Pacific Relations, to 1938 and his return to NZ, after studying at the University of London, working as an economics tutor and lecturer, travelling to Berlin for the Olympic Games and touring Europe. Includes travel tickets, menus, invitations, receipts, programmes, telegrams, occasional letters, including a card from Rewi Alley, applications for work and other papers.
