Prime Minister, John Key walks towards the debating chamber with an anxious Bill English. John Key in his cheerful way tells Bill English that he wants a budget that is fiscally responsible, bold, brave, uncompromising and wildly popular. Refers to the 2009 budget that is being announced in difficult circumstances because of the recession. Because this budget is being announced near the beginning of the National government it is important that it is well received.
