- Description
Shows Dr Allan Bollard, chief of the Reserve Bank, cutting the rope on a trebouchet that represents thwe 'OCR' (official credit rate) from which the ammunition (a kiwi wearing flying goggles and helmet) should be jettisoned over the wall of a castle that represents 'economic recovery'. The kiwi complains that there is still no lift-off and Dr Bollard explains that he cannot make any more cuts. Refers to the Reserve Bank having cut interest rates to 2.5% in an effort to stimulate the economy.
