- Description
The cartoon shows Labour Party MP Shane Jones described as 'Sex-Cabinet minister Shame Jones'. He is shown as a devil with little horns, a halo, and a forked tail and holds a pitch-fork with a credit card on its prongs. The letters 'red' in 'credit' are crossed out and the word 'blue' is printed above to be substituted. A second version is the same except that the words 'The CARDinal sin' appears in the centre of the cartoon. Refers to the recent release by the government of credit card receipts that show government ministers racking up bills for hundreds of dollars worth at a time of alcohol, food and other expenses on the taxpayer - including personal items such as golf clubs, new clothes, movies and massages. Shane Jones has hired porn movies. Several MPs have been removed from the front bench.
