The scene shows a gathering of brides, each a leader of one of the main political parties: represented are Helen Clark, Prime Minister and Leader of the Labour Party, Peter Dunne, Leader of United Future, Don Brash, Leader of the National Party, Tariana Turia, Leader of the Maori Party and Rod Donald, Co-leader of the Greens. Before them stands Winston Peters, Leader of New Zealand First, dressed in coat-tails, flanked by a mildly puzzled-looking vicar in his regalia. Winston Peters tells the brides to just chant the vows in unison and he will tell them after the wedding which one is the real bride. Refers to Winston Peters' refusal to state any preference for which party he might support before the election.
