Shows Winston Peters, leader of New Zealand First, tied to a stake and standing on top of a heap of kindling that represents a 'declaration of interests'. Nearby, leader of the National Party, John Key, bends to set fire to the pyre only to discover that his own shares in his back pocket are on fire. Refers to the investigations into donations made to Winston Peters that were not declared and for which he was censured and also the New Zealand Rail shares that John Key held at at time when he could benefit from insider knowledge.
