Description

According to the accompanying text "...from a sketch by Mr W. M. Hodgins [sic] of Dunedin, who visited it in 1875 ... This noble peak ... is taken from a point a few miles up the Hooker Glacier; the dark spur [on the left] is the lower ridge of Mount Sefton, the other [on the right] a portion of the lower or main spur of Mount Cook. The glacier is seen issuing from the peak and winding its way down the valley..."
