Area edged yellow is railway Land and the part of this land with a hatched edging, is the approximate area which the railway authorities have agreed to hand over to the Board. Area shown cross hatched is area which the Hon. the Minister of Lands has agreed to hand over to the Board. Action in this direction is under way. All the rest of the land is already under the control of the Board except the bed of the Bealey River, and action is being taken to bring this under the control of the Board.
