Sheila Hogben's album of holiday photographs.

The first holiday taken during the Christmas break, 1939-1940, included six girls camping at Waiau Pa, Manukau Harbour. The six girls with their bicycles ready to leave on their trip. Shots of the girls at their camp with two men, Charlie and Arthur. The rest of the photographs are mainly shots of the girls at tennis, at the beach, and in the pastoral landscape of the farm where they were camping.

The second holiday was a tour of Northland made in January 1941. This time a group of four girls set out with their bicycles loaded down with camping gear. They also travelled by hitching rides on trucks and they are seen on their first lift on the back of a truck with their bicycles. Group photographs in bathing togs on the beach at Tikinui.
