View of the street front of the Wanaka Hotel, Wanaka. People are grouped on and around the veranda. The Hotel's name and that of its proprietor are painted on a board above the veranda. The photographer was Herbert Deveril.
The Wanaka Hotel was built by the proprietor, Theodore Russell, ca 1864
