Shows Minister of Finance, Michael Cullen, making his budget speech in parliament. Beside him sits a smiling Prime Minister, Helen Clark. He says that the budget addresses the needs of the most velnerable people in society - at the end of the list of the vulnerable he adds the Labour Party. Phil Goff, Minister of Trade, who is sitting nearby, says 'Hear! Hear!'. Refers to the announcement of the budget in May 2008 and the poor polling of the Labour Party in the run up to the 2008 election. Refers also to Phil Goff's gaffes when he suggested that Labour might not win the 2008 election and also that he would be interested in the leadership. These comments have caused embarrassment to Labour.
