Group outside a kauta (Maori cooking house) at Parihaka Pa with buckets and kete. Most of the women wear white feathers in their hair and some hold poi. Four of the women have dark marks on their cheeks. In the foreground a woman is scraping potatoes with a shell. Photograph taken by William Andrew Collis circa 1900.
