A headmaster tells a mother who sits in front of him with her son that no parent will have to mortgage their home to pay voluntary fees but they may like to consider selling a kidney.Refers to an incident when the board of Rathkeale College, which is an integrated school, suggested that a solo mother whose son attended the college put a mortgage on her house and then sell the house so that she could raise the $13000 in unpaid school 'donations'.
