Survey plan for the proposed route of the North Island main trunk line near Mataroa, Taihape. Shows distances and gradients, the Hautapu River and Mangarautawhiri Stream. Shows the beginning of the Hautapu Falls section, as well as the tracks to Marton and Murumutu.
Deviation 50 metres - 50 metres 77. Shows various buildings such as Maori whare, whare (government).
Also shows a cross section of the same distance, depicting banks, cuttings, formation levels, gradients and distance.
