- Description
Prime Minister, Helen Clark is wearing on her head Shrek's huge woolly fleece. She wonders whether the new look and her visiting a sheep will boost her ratings. Shrek, looking chilly and shorn, and sporting a large sticking-plaster does not appear impressed. Refers to Helen Clark's visit to meet Shrek the sheep who hadn't been shorn for six years. At around the same time Helen Clark made the comment that Hikoi leaders were 'haters and wreckers' and she preferred the company of Shrek. The Hikoi was a protest against the Foreshore and Seabed Bill.

Shrek was a Merino wether belonging to the Bendigo Station, a sheep station near Tarras, New Zealand, who gained international fame in 2004, after he avoided being caught and shorn for six years.
