- Description
Shows a mangy dog which appears to be very unwell as it lies on top of a newspaper with the headline 'Price watchdog looking at big dairy price rises'. The dog's foodbowl is labelled 'Commerce Commission'. On a large sign is a carton of milk and a package of cheese which are both heading for a price rise. Refers to the fact that the Commerce Commission has decided to look into the prices of dairy product. A spokeswoman for the price watchdog said it was not yet a formal investigation but that it wanted to understand why the cost of milk, butter and cheese had risen so sharply.
