Description

A 'GOOD EVANS' cartoon. Shows American presidential candidate, Barack Obama, pressing the bell of a door which appears to have a United States flag on it so maybe it is the White House. He carries a huge suitcase labelled 'Credibility'. The little Evans' bird says 'Guess whose coming to dinner'. Refers to the fact that Obama has won the contest to be Democratic presidential candidate against Hillary Clinton and now has to prove that he is a credible candidate for president. 'Guess whose coming to dinner' was the name of a film in which Sidney Poitier starred as a black man who falls in love with a white woman. If Obama wins the presidential election he will be the first black president.
