Shows man on horse, houses, and track. One of a group of views illustrating the Coromandel gold fields
Possibly the original for the wood engraving in Illustrated London News, 1865, p. 33; however the associated text states that the set of Coromandel views is 'from sketches by Mr Allen Martin'. This may be an error for Albin Martin. A. Harris may have copied his view from the Illustrated London news, rather than painting the original.
