Shows an egg-timer with a small amount of sand representing 'Telecom profits' in the upper bulb and a larger amount of sand representing 'executive bonuses' in the lower bulb. Text reads ''Like sands through the hourglass of time... ... these are the PAYS OF OUR LIVES'. Refers to the fact that Telecom reported a 43.9 per cent fall in full year net profit to $398 million. In spite of this fall in profits, Telecom will pay chief executive, Paul Reynolds, his full performance bonus. Reynolds' total package will amount to more than $5 million - a new record for a chief executive of a New Zealand public company.
