- Description
Two men walk past the construction site of the new Carisbrook stadium in Dunedin. One of them comments that it is 'rocketing upwards' and the other replies that 'It's bound to smash into Otago rugby travelling the other way!' Refers to the hope that revenue from the completed stadium will play a large part in paying for it and the City Council is relying on Otago Rugby for most of the revenue. However Otago Rugby has had to be bailed out of financial difficulty because it is not proving popular enough to attract enough paying customers.
