A fat cat dressed in fancy business clothes sits in a business-class aeroplane seat holding a glass of bubbly in one paw and the newspaper in the other. On his lapel is a badge reading 'Former NZ MP'. The headline in the newspaper reads 'London - smartly dressed gang in suits escape after huge heist'. The cat thinks they are a bunch of amateurs. Refers to the row about MP expenses which in the case of some, seem excessive, especially in this time of economic recession. Roger Douglas, now an ACT mp, who has been vocal in his demands for the Government to cut public spending and for Kiwis to tighten their belts during the recession, has one of the highest airfare bills among MPs. He has said that he is 'entitled' to the perks which follow pre-1999 rules.
