Description

A small girl tells her mother, who is carrying a load of dry washing from the washing line, that her father is shouting at God and someone called Max Bradford. The mother realises with dismay that they have received another power Bill. Refers to tough times in the recession and a view that Max Bradford, who as Minister of Energy in the previous national government, was responsible in 1998 for reforms that introduced the profit-driven electricity market system that has resulted in power companies overcharging customers.
