Postscript by MKC (Ken] Marshall, Motu Kowhai May 1937, explains that this item was copied from Marshall's `Then and Now'. In this Marshall took the `then' as 1862 and compared it to `now' which was 1937. R Marshall did not copy the `now' part as he thought 'anyone reading this would make comparison with one's own time of living'.
