Photograph taken on 25 April 1955, by an unidentified photographer for the Free Lance.
Other - Published caption reads: `Scene at Auckland Cenotaph on Monday afternoon - Solemn crowds gathered in Wellington and Auckland at war memorials to revere the spirit of Anzac and to honour the memory of those who fought and died in the defence of their country.
