Shown on the map are British protesters and policemen and a Chinese policeman threatening a Tibetan monk with a truncheon. Refers to the wave of protests against the Chinese treatment of Tibet in the run up to the Olympic Games to be held in Beijing. There is a play on the words 'Torch' and 'Torture' in the title.
