Evening Post caption on back of photograph reads: "A demonstration of the audiometer at the Thorndon School [Wellington] on Thursday morning, when the New Zealand League for the Hard of Hearing, promoters of Centennial Hearing Week, staged a special effort to arouse the interest of parents and teachers in the treatment of deaf and hard-of-hearing children." Published in the Evening Post, 16 March 1940. Photographer unidentified.
