Description

Several cannabis leaves spring apart in a 'disJOINTed' way. Text states that the 'Greens lose Legalise Cannabis Bill at first weeding'. There is a word play on the word 'weeding' and 'reading' (as of a bill in parliament) and another word play with the words 'disjointed' and 'joint'. Refers to the Medicinal Cannabis Bill promoted by Metiria Turei Co-leader of the Green Party which after a three-year campaign to allow cannabis to be used for medicinal purposes failed on its first reading on 1 July 2009, voted down 86-34 on a conscience vote.
