Source of descriptive information - Date estimated by cataloguer, on basis of costume Inscriptions: Album page - beneath image - Bush at glen (Judge Bathgate's) Judge Bathgate had arrived in Dunedin in 1863 as the manager of the new Bank of Otago. He purchased James Macandrew's 60 acre Carisbrook estate, which he renamed "The Glen". Bathgate became a judge in 1874. Quantity: 1 b&w original photographic print(s).
