- Description
A caricature of Don Brash lashed to a USA nuclear-powered rocket which is about to be launched. The cartoon is on a huge pre-election Labour hustings hoarding that is on a roadside; in the right-hand corner the words 'New Zealand Labour'. In the distance stretch power lines. Relates to the various statements made by Don Brash, Leader of the Opposition in relation to New Zealand's nuclear-free policy. One of his statements was that if or when he gets into parliament the policy would be 'gone by lunchtime'. He promises to try to change the policy mainly to please the USA government if he wins the next election.
