Sketch showing a shelter with sloping roof and one wall, featuring three figures, either carved, or painted on the wall.
The Ngati Tuwharetoa leader Iwikau Te Heuheu Tukino III succeeded his brother Mananui Te Heuheu Tukino II, after the latter's death in 1846. The monument was at Pukawa (see mention of Pukawa in Richard Taylor's diary, 22 April 1847 (Manuscripts Collection))
