Dr Allen of Napier reports his stay in Wairakei, and remarks on the geysers, the Wairakei Homestead, and the Bath, beneficial for skin affections, rheumatism and gout.
Dated from the 1890s, based on the period in which W Deverell was illustrating tourism brochures.
