Caricature of Jim Bolger, Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1990 to 1997 and leader of the National Party for twelve years. In 1998 Mr Bolger was appointed New Zealand Ambassador to Washington and he resigned as a Member of Parliament in March 1998.
