- Description
Shows Finance Minister, Roger Douglas, as a pirate on a tatty Spanish galleon. He leans over the prow of the ship with a telescope to his eye and yells to the rowers to row faster as there are just a few metres more to go. A seagull stands on the telescope holding a document in front of it which is what the pirate is seeing. The document is entitled 'Utopia' and shows two graphs, one showing 'employment' dipping and then rising and the other showing 'inflation' rising and then falling. Refers to the free market experiment of Roger Douglas and the fourth Labour government.
