Description

The scene shows National Leader, Don Brash and Prime Minister, Helen Clark sitting across the aisle from one another in an aeroplane. Don Brash is reading a newspaper with the headlines 'Nats close gap as election race tightens'. He leans over to Helen Clark with a triumphant grin saying 'Game's on, Dude!'. Helen Clark cringes back in her seat scowling ferociously and thinking 'I wish I had a hammer!' Refers to the very close race between the two major parties in the run up to the election. Don Brash has just re-introduced the race issue which has caused a jump in the polls for National. Helen Clark is clearly feeling that violence is an option.

Other Titles - Nats close gap as election race tightens. "I wish I had a hammer!"
