Description

A plan view of the whole Parihaka Maori village site, with all buildings marked, and several named including Te Whiti's old house, Te Whiti's new house, Te Kowerawera large meeting house, Ngaruahine Te Kohi, Tohu's house, Titokowaru's house, Kaporangi's whare, Rua Keri's wooden house, Horima's whare and groups of whare assigned to different tribal groups from Taranaki, Waikato and Wanganui. Streams, hills, a stockyard, clearings and a swamp are also marked.

Inscriptions: Recto - Title in pencil above image; otherwise the whole drawing is inscribed as appropriate with a key, lower left.
